BUSINESS COUNCIL OF MANITOBA INDIGENOUS EDUCATION AWARD

The Business Council is committed to providing opportunities for Indigenous Manitobans to achieve a post-secondary education and contribute to moving our province toward a better future.

PETRO-CANADA AWARD FOR INDIGENOUS STUDENTS

The Petro-Canada Award for Indigenous Students is for Canadian Indigenous students enrolled in a Canadian high school program.  It is a one-time award of $750 for students from one of the Indigenous communities listed within the application.

Deadline: July 1st


RED RIVER EXHIBITION FOUNDATION INC.

Over 20 scholarships and bursaries are available for careers in Aerospace, Agriculture, Agri-Food, Creative Arts, Business, and Tourism.

Deadline: May 10th


CANADIAN SCHOLARSHIP TRUST FOUNDATION (CST) 


The CST Foundation Bursaries are awarded to students who require financial assistance to access post-secondary education for the first time. In 2023, we awarded 25 bursaries, each worth $6,000.

Deadline: April 26th

CANADA POST

Apply for an education grant from Canada Post. Canada Post gives $2,000 grants to Indigenous Peoples who have renewed their educational learning.

MANITOBA HYDRO

We support Indigenous students who are interested in a career with us. High school applications are only accepted between June 1 and July 15.

Open: June 1st – July 15th


INDSPIRE

Indspire’s Building Brighter Futures: Bursaries and Scholarships (BBF) program opens doors through education. There is one application for all of Indspire’s bursaries and scholarships (with a few exceptions). You only need to complete the application once to be considered for all applicable bursaries and scholarships.

Open: May 1st
Deadlines: August 1st, November 1st, February 1st


TD

TD Scholarships for Community Leadership recipients receive up to $70,000 for tuition and living expenses and opportunities for paid summer employment, peer networking and mentorship. Up to 20 scholarships are available to be awarded annually.

Open: September 1st – November 1st


HELEN BETTY OSBORNE MEMORIAL AWARDS

The Helen Betty Osborne Memorial Fund recognizes Indigenous students who are making a difference in eliminating the barriers of racism, sexism, violence, and indifference in society. Awards are granted in the amount of $2,000 each.

Open: August 1st – October 31st


RBC FUTURE LAUNCH SCHOLARSHIP FOR INDIGENOUS YOUTH

The RBC Future Launch Scholarship for Indigenous Youth will award 20 scholarships annually valued at up to $10,000 each per year (up to 4 years) to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students across Canada, demonstrating strong academic performance and community involvement.
