🌍 World Mental Health Day 🌍
Today is a reminder that your mental health matters—to you, your family, and your community. Whether you’re a student, a young adult, or someone just trying to figure things out, it’s okay to take a moment and ask yourself: How am I really doing? Mental health is as important as physical health. It’s about finding balance, taking breaks, and reaching out when things feel heavy. 💬💙 Check out the Mental Health Education Resource Centre (MHERC) for mental health resources at mherc.mb.ca.
🌍🎓 Happy World Teacher’s Day!

Their dedication impacts generations, creating a ripple effect beyond school walls. 🎉 Take a moment today to thank a teacher who has made a difference in your life. A simple ‘thank you’ can mean the world to them.

Moose Hide Campaign Day
Today’s the Day! WVC stands with the Moose Hide Campaign to end violence towards women and children. The Moose Hide Campaign acknowledges that violence in any form is unacceptable, no matter the gender. It highlights the significant number of women affected by violence and emphasizes the crucial role of men and boys in tackling this issue. The Moose Hide campaign also recognizes that approaches centred on “shame and blame” are ineffective solutions. People of all ages, genders, and cultures are invited to participate in our campaign actions.
Red Dress Day 2024
Today, we observe the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). On this solemn day, we come together to honour and remember our stolen mothers, sisters, and cousins. It is a distressing reality that Indigenous women and girls in Canada are five times more likely to be victims of violence than any other demographic. We encourage our students and communities to wear red as a unified gesture of solidarity and commitment to raising awareness. No More Stolen Sisters. 🪶 ✋🏽 🛑❗️

It encompasses various wetlands in the boreal zone, including bogs, fens, swamps, and mires. These peatlands cover around 1.2 million km2 in Canada, constituting 12% of the country’s surface area. test
