Math 10F

Eight units are covered, including Number Sense and rational Numbers, Powers and exponents, Polynomials, linear relations, Similarity, Circle Geometry, Symmetry, Statistics and probability.

SPECIAL NOTE: Students will decide which mathematics pathway—Essentials or Introduction to Applied/Pre-Calculus—they will continue with in Grade 10 during the M10F (Grade 9) course and upon completion. It is highly recommended that students achieve a mark of 70% or greater before enrolling in the Introduction to Applied & Precalculus course in Grade 10.

There are no specific requirements, but at least a Grade 9 standing is required.

The Wapaskwa Virtual Collegiate student intake periods occur twice a year. Semester one intake is during the summer months of June through September. Semester two intake is during the winter months of December through February.
