Chemistry 30S

This course builds on what was learned in the chemistry unit of Science 20F. The course focuses on theoretical and mathematical aspects of the interactions of matter. Students will also use experiments to further their understanding of the topics. Units include Physical Properties of Matter, Gases and the Atmosphere, Chemical Reactions, Solutions, and Organic Chemistry.

EQUIPMENT/PERSONAL SUPPLIES: The student will be required to have a scientific calculator.

Completion of Science 20F (Grade 10) is required.

The Wapaskwa Virtual Collegiate student intake periods occur twice a year. Semester one intake is during the summer months of June through September. Semester two intake is during the winter months of December through February.
